Five miles from the city centre, inside the grounds of Hursley Park, there's a café where the coffee is roasted a few steps from the bar. That's us.

Coffee we roast ourselves

Every coffee we serve is roasted in small batches by us, here in Hursley. Ask for a flat white and it's made with beans we bought from producers we know by name and roasted ourselves that week.

It shows. Our Google reviews talk about the coffee more than anything else, and our regulars are on first-name terms with the team.

Pulled on a Slayer

Our espresso comes off a Slayer, one of the most precise espresso machines made. It gives our baristas fine control over every shot. You'll taste more sweetness and more detail in the cup. We're also the southern UK distributor for Slayer, so if you run a café, come and try one.

Breakfast, lunch and good cake

• Breakfast (Mon to Fri 9:00 to 11:45, Sat 9:00 to 14:00): the full OHCO Breakfast, smashed avocado on sourdough, New Forest wild mushrooms, or build your own breakfast sarnie
• Lunch (12:00 to 15:00): buttermilk chicken burgers, toasties, patatas bravas and a seasonal soup made in house
• All day: fresh pastries and homemade cakes

Make a morning of it

Hursley Park is a lovely spot for a walk before or after your coffee. The village of Hursley is just down the road, and Winchester is about 15 minutes away. There's plenty of free parking on site, so no hunting for a space.
